They are full of juicy blueberries, tender, fluffy, and have a sweet streusel topping that makes them the best blueberry muffins you will ever find.

It’s like they come from the bakery, except better – they are homemade and also so easy to prepare!  When you realize how simple these muffins are, you’ll want to make them over and over again.

Fresh or Frozen Blueberries?

The most important things for this recipe are – you guessed right – the blueberries. First and foremost, use fresh blueberries whenever you can. They taste better when you buy them fresh.

But if you don’t have fresh blueberries at home – definitely no need to worry. Just go to the fridge and take out the frozen ones.

When it isn’t a blueberry season, I usually go with the frozen ones because they are cheaper and you can always count on the quality because the blueberries are frozen when they are ripe. The best part is that you can make blueberry muffins all year long using either fresh or frozen blueberries. No rest for the blueberry lovers (like us).

Your Blueberries are sinking in the muffins?

Blueberries at the bottom of the muffins – Been there… not cool at all. But you can stop that from happening with a very simple trick.

Just coat the blueberries in a little flour before stirring them into the muffin batter and voila – juicy blueberries throughout the entire muffin ♡
