Easy Banana Walnut Bread

This Banana Walnut Bread is super moist – it is made with brown butter, coconut sugar, and nuts! I personally used walnuts, but you can certainly add pecans or almonds if you’d like. They are all fantastic in this easy quick and wonderful banana bread recipe.

Not that we are on lockdown, we buy more stuff than usually do when going grocery shopping (just to make sure that we won’t have to go out every single day). And guess what, we always end up with brown bananas. But, hey, that is not bad at all – just another reason to make this heavenly yummy banana walnut bread. A warm slice of Banana Walnut Bread is somehow comforting and relaxing – it makes your whole house smell amazing, just like the smell in a French bakery. It will bring you, your kids and family joy and happiness.

So, put you apron and start baking : )

Here are some tips that I would like to share with you

There is no such thing as too much brown when you’re making banana bread! Even black bananas can be used for this recipe. If the bananas at your home are not brown yet, they aren’t ready for bread.  Wait another day or two before making this banana bread or go to the local grocery store and pick a few ready for bread, ripe bananas. You want lots of brown spots or mostly brown bananas.

The nuts are another important part and I LOVE them in this banana bread recipe.  Walnuts pair perfectly with the brown butter, vanilla, and cinnamon flavors. This time I used walnuts, but if you don’t have walnuts at home, you can certainly use whatever nuts you have. I would be happy to hear about the result. So, if you are using some not so common nuts, please, share your experience – it might turn out amazing. And all amazing things need to be shared ?

Just don’t forget to sprinkle the walnuts before putting the bread into the oven like I did…

I somehow managed to “save the day” by sprinkling them a bit later but if this thing happens to you as well – keep in mind that you can open the oven after at least 20 min of baking.
